Do what you love. Therapeutic Recreation at Craig Hospital

What do you love to do?

Maybe you enjoy hitting the slopes, planting flowers, shooting pool, riding your bike or playing games with your family and friends. After an injury, Craig patients often express a sense of hopelessness, not knowing if they can return to the activities that they love.

Craig’s solution? Therapeutic Recreation (T-Rec). Integral to our multi-faceted rehabilitation approach, T-Rec teaches people to return to those activities that make life worth living while reinforcing independence and other types of therapies. T-Rec helps patients find hope and regain confidence, reconnect with family and friends, get back to the community and rediscover recreational activities. Unfortunately, Therapeutic Recreation in not covered by insurance and must rely on community support.
