On Valentine’s Day, left guard for the Denver Broncos, Zane Beadles, visited Craig Hospital along with the Executive Director, Julie Gart, of his Foundation, The Zane Beadles Parade Foundation.
The mission of the Zane Beadles Foundation is to enrich the lives of children facing unfortunate situations through new experiences, scholarships and financial assistance for medical recovery. Zane spent the day visiting Craig patient’s and learning about our programs. Approximately 25% of the patients who visit Craig Hospital annual are below the age of 26.

In addition to making our day, he visited and learned more about some key programs at Craig that are available to our young patients
- The PEAK Center — an adaptive health and wellness center for individuals with neurological disabilities
- The School Program — a continuing tutoring program for high school aged students who have survived a catastrophic injury
- The Alumni Scholarship Program — A grant-making program that allows Craig Hospital grads funding for higher education
- Therapeutic recreation — An integrated therapy that develops functional skills in a fun environment
Zane also signed Zane Beadles Parade Foundation T-shirts, distributed t-shirts/candy to patients, and hung a signed AFC Bronco’s pennant in the three west therapy gym.
