2022 Spark: Southern California Fundraiser
Please join us for Spark, an opportunity to connect and engage deeply with the work of Craig Hospital in Englewood, Colorado.
Craig offers state-of-the-art, unparalleled neurorehabilitation for people who have sustained a life-altering spinal cord and/or brain injury. Recognized as a top 10 rehab hospital by U.S. News & World Report, Craig is one of the most decorated rehabilitation hospitals in the world. Because of its specialty and reputation for excellence, Craig draws patients from across the country. In the last five years, nearly 250 Californians have chosen to travel to Colorado to complete their rehabilitation at Craig.
Craig’s donor-funded programming provides patients with the structure they need to achieve their highest level of independence and life quality.
None of this is possible without the support of generous people like you. Spark will be an inspiring evening that will ignite new research ideas, fuel innovation for programs that serve Craig patients, and illuminate independence by providing critical assistance for equipment needs, home modifications, and much more. Philanthropy is changing lives at Craig, and we invite you to be part of the movement.
About The Brotman Family, Spark Hosts
In 2015, Austin Brotman broke his C6 vertebra in a diving accident. Within weeks, he was hard at work at Craig Hospital with a clear goal: adapt to life in a paralyzed body and stay on track to graduate with his high school class. His family: mom Shelley, dad Trevor, and brothers Aiden and Hudson, rallied around him and were instrumental in his recovery.
The Brotman family founded the Spinal Cord Injury Scholars’ Fund to provide the adaptive technology tools young Craig patients need in order to continue their studies.
With the skills he learned at Craig, Austin is a thriving Stanford University student. The entire Brotman family is committed to empowering others who have experienced spinal cord and brain injuries.
The Brotmans are excited to fuel Craig Hospital initiatives, alongside you!
