Meet Scott

Scott was injured four times in the line of duty. He suffered a traumatic brain injury (TBI)—in addition to multiple physical injuries--from a mortar attack while protecting the U.S. base in Baghdad. For seven years, Scott’s traumatic brain injury went undiagnosed.

Scott and his wife Elizabeth moved to Colorado Springs to seek better care and community. There, they connected with a mental health doctor who referred Scott to Operation TBI Freedom.
