Englewood, CO—Craig Hospital has been awarded its third Magnet ® Designation site visit. Appraisers for the Magnet Commission will visit Craig Hospital January 28-30, 2015, to assess how the hospital meets the Magnet Components.
Craig Hospital was designated as a Magnet organization in 2005 and 2010 by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Magnet Recognition Program®. This prestigious designation recognizes excellence in nursing services. In January 2015, Craig Hospital is applying for re-designation.
“This is an important opportunity to show how Craig Hospital raises the bar of excellence. This designation requires ongoing demonstration of empirical outcomes that are the results of the nursing profession and patient care,” said Craig Hospital’s Magnet Coordinator Lisa Shelton, MSN, RN, CRRN.
The public will be able to meet with appraisers in the Patient and Family Housing Conference Room in the Patient Family Housing Complex at Craig Hospital, at 10am am-11am on January 29, 2015.
