Before visiting Craig Hospital, please review the guidelines and information below. These guidelines are subject to change.
Visiting Hours: 7 a.m. – 10 p.m.
Quiet Hours: 9 p.m. – 7 a.m.
Check In
All visitors, guests, caregivers, PEAK clients and outpatients are required to check in at the West Building’s main entrance.
Be prepared to present an ID. A screening sticker will be issued for a specific location and time. Drop-in meetings with other departments/staff are not permitted.
Children under the age of 18 who are visiting are required to be accompanied at all times by an adult who is not the patient.
All visitors to Craig Hospital must have a scheduled appointment for entry. Guests of inpatients do not require appointments to visit but will be required to verify patient information for entry. Tours must be arranged ahead of time with a Craig Hospital staff member.
Overnight visitors must be approved by the care team. For BI Program patients, approval must be given by physician and psychologist.

Illness Precautions
If you are sick and do not need to be here, please stay home. Come back when you’re feeling better!
Do not enter if you have:
- Fever, cough, sore throat or runny nose
- Vomiting, diarrhea or rash
- Exposure to someone with a contagious illness in the last 10 days
If you must be on site:
- Call ahead: 303-789-8000
- On site: Mask up and check in at the West Building Front Desk for further instructions.
Parking
All guests are required to have a parking pass to park on our campus. A code for entry to Craig’s parking garage will be issued with the pass upon check-in at the front desk of the West Building.
Creating a Safe Environment
Safety is vital to our culture of caring. Everyone deserves to be respected and feel safe on campus, including our staff. We are committed to upholding an environment of compassion, safety, mutual respect and inclusion, and we need your help to keep everyone at Craig safe while we care for you or your loved one. A respectful interaction is key for successful collaboration between patients, visitors and staff. Should anyone be physically/verbally abusive or threaten violence, we may ask you to leave the facility, restrict visitation, and/or call local law enforcement.
Weapons and Drugs Policy
Weapons, drugs (including marijuana) and smoking/vaping are not permitted anywhere on our campus (including Patient/Family Housing and our parking lots and garages).
Outpatient Guidelines
Outpatients and any accompanying outpatient caregivers coming on site to Craig Hospital will be required to check in at the front desk of the West Building prior to entering the building. Outpatients must have an appointment to enter the building and are not permitted on inpatient units. Each individual will receive a screening sticker and outpatient wristband that must be worn for the entirety of the day while on the Craig Hospital campus.
If you are experiencing any symptoms of illness (see Illness Precautions above), please do not come to the hospital. Please call the Outpatient Cancellation Line at 303-789-8177 to leave a message and await a call back with further instructions before coming to the hospital for on-site services.
Craig Hospital does not have an emergency department or urgent care center and does not provide emergency, urgent care or primary care services.
