When to visit
Our campus has visiting hours until 9 p.m. with counselors ready to assist families through their adjustment to the world of severe injuries. This includes understanding insurance policies, applications for public benefits, community reintegration, and eventual discharge planning.

Location and Parking
Craig Hospital is located on South Clarkson Street between Highway 285 (Jefferson Avenue) and Girard Avenue.

Our facility provides two parking lots for outpatients and visitors. The main parking lot is at the corner of South Clarkson and East Girard, just northeast of Craig’s West Building entrance. An additional lot is located at the corner of Old East Hampden Avenue and South Emerson Street, just southeast of the hospital.
Enjoy family-friendly accommodations
Craig Hospital offers a wide variety of programs specifically designed to support families, including housing for outpatients and families of inpatients, either in our on-site family housing facility or in a nearby hotel or apartment. First, we give on-site housing priority to recovering outpatients. Next, we give on-site housing priority to newly injured inpatient families who live more than 60 miles from Denver.
Occasionally, our on-site accommodations fill up – but we work with local partners to provide comfortable alternatives. In either instance, Craig covers housing for up to 30 days. After this period, on-site housing and partner hotel and apartment options are available at a discounted rate – pending availability and location.
