  • Laura Brown , Director of Admissions

    Laura Brown, RN, BSN, is the Director of Admissions. Laura has worked in the field of Spinal Cord Injury and Brain Injury Rehabilitation for 21 years, as a nurse in ICU, Rehabilitation, and Outpatient Services, a Manager, and a Clinical Liaison. Laura came to Craig in 2014 after working at Shepherd Center for the past ten years.

  • Jami Mock, Clinical Liaison

    Jami Mock, RN, BSN, CRRN, joined Craig Hospital in 1999 as a RN in the Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation program. Since 2007 Jami has been a Clinical Evaluator, evaluating patients who are referred to Craig from Colorado and around the U.S. for possible admission.

  • Leigh Ann Metscher, Clinical Liaison

    Leigh Ann Metscher, LCSW, has worked in the field of medical and psychiatric social work for ten years, including three years in acute care with patients and families with spinal cord injury and brain injury. Leigh Ann joined the Craig Admissions team in January, 2014. Prior to Craig, she worked as a Social Worker in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Denver Health Medical Center, a Level I Trauma Center in Denver.

  • Donna Hagan, Clinical Liaison

    Donna Hagan has 25 years experience in hospital admissions and working with persons and families with brain injury and spinal cord injury. Donna has worked at Craig for five years as a Community Liaison, evaluating patients who are referred to Craig from around the U.S. for possible admission.

  • Craig Hospital Admissions Liaison Alex Hempel

    Alexandra Hempel, Clinical Liaison

    Alexandra Hempel, RN, BSN, CNRN, is a clinical nurse liaison and evaluates patients throughout the United States for admission to Craig. Prior to becoming a liaison, Alex was a nurse on the spinal cord injury floor at Craig Hospital. She has also worked with patients with other chronic neurological conditions and is a Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse.
