Autumn Zhu

Autumn Zhu is a highly accomplished healthcare professional with a diverse background in policy, strategy, and leadership roles.

Autumn leads AI oversight and policy at UCSF Health. Her 10+ years of healthcare experience span the public, private, and non-profit sectors. She was founder and CEO of AI-assisted Community Health Worker company Odyssey Global, more rapidly connecting patients to social services such as housing and transportation. At nationwide provider Carbon Health, she led primary care strategy and growth and designed services and programs. She designed and tested healthcare reforms and wrote regulations at the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI), led healthcare policy and budget at the White House, and wrote healthcare legislation for the U.S. House Committee on Ways and Means Majority.

Autumn was on the founding teams of last-mile and emergency response startups while at Harvard University, from which she graduated with honors and holds a joint degree in government and sociology, global health, and health policy.

In 2020, Autumn was listed in Forbes magazine’s 30 Under 30 for founding an organization to connect survivors of domestic violence to services and resources.
