CHAT Program Coordinator

Betsy Batts, MS, CCC-SLP, CBIS earned her master’s degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences from the University of Oregon. As a dedicated speech-language pathologist, she has extensive experience treating patients with acquired and traumatic brain injuries. Betsy’s passion for language facilitated her transition to the CHAT program, where she works intensively with patients with aphasia. Her desire to expand the program’s impact and reach led her to transition into the role of Program Coordinator in April 2025. She is deeply committed to enhancing both language abilities and the quality of life of her patients by fostering a greater understanding of how language shapes our daily experiences.
