Jacob Vanderslice

Jacob Vanderslice is a Founder and Principal at VanWest Partners, a Denver-based real estate investment company. VanWest specializes in the acquisition, development, and management of self storage facilities and other opportunistic investments across commercial real estate. The company targets real estate in submarkets with strong fundamentals, with an opportunity to add value through both revenue and expense optimization. VanWest currently owns and operates 30 self storage facilities in eleven states, along with retail and residential assets in the Denver area.

Prior to forming VanWest, Jacob was a professional firefighter and arson investigator. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, skiing, golfing, flying airplanes, and spending time with his wife and two young sons.
