​Jill Stelley Virden

Jill Stelley Virden, MS, CTRS, is the Director of the Gift Shop and Volunteer Services at Craig Hospital. Jill has a BS from St. Cloud State in St. Cloud, MN, and an MS from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, CO. Jill began in the Therapeutic Recreation department in 1990 and then was the Volunteer and Gift Shop Coordinator from 2008 until her promotion to Director in 2021. While in the TR department Jill worked in all areas of the program including the SCI team, TBI team and Horticultural Therapy, and conducted a research project related to recreation and patient outcomes. Jill also developed the TBI outpatient program for the TR department. Jill now recruits, trains and places volunteers for Craig Hospital, and is in charge of all aspects of the Gift Shop. Jill is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) and a member of Colorado Healthcare Directors of Volunteer Services (CHDVS).
