John Robb

Mr. Robb is the Founder and Managing Director for The Stone Creek Group. Stone Creek provides advisory and asset management services for families and companies with a specialty in Oil and Gas. Previously, John was the Senior Vice President, Managing Director and founder of Alliance Bernstein’s Denver office. He joined the firm as a Financial Advisor in 2001 and co-founded Bernstein’s office in Houston, Texas. He was named a Principal in 2004 before relocating to Denver in 2005.

He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy in West Point, New York, and holds his M.B.A. from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas. At West Point, John was Captain of the 1990 Army Football Team. John is active in the community and has been a member of the West Point Societies of both Houston and Denver.

At the national level, John served as one of fourteen Directors of the Board for the West Point Association of Graduates before being term limited. Since 2004, he has served on the WPAOG Investment Committee and served as its Chairman for 10 years. John has been involved with numerous subcommittees that have improved the economic, financial and personnel situation of the Association of Graduates. On the local level, John is passionate about Craig Hospital. He is a past Chair of the Craig Hospital Foundation Board and currently serves as a Director and member of the Development Committee. He Chaired the Foundation’s Investment, Finance, and Audit Committee.

John and his wife, Patricia, enjoy skiing, hiking, golf and traveling with their grown children and three granddaughters.
