Laura Martel, PT, DPT

Laura Martel, PT, DPT, is Craig Hospital’s Director of Outpatient Services, bringing a strong clinical and leadership background to the role. She first joined Craig in 2015 as a physical therapist and returned in 2026 as a director. Previously, Laura expanded her leadership experience as Director of Rehabilitation at PAM Specialty Hospital of Denver and most recently served as a clinical liaison, supporting admissions and strengthening referral relationships. Throughout her career, she has invested in professional growth through leadership development, project management, global conference presentations, and service as Vice Chair of the APTA’s Global Health Special Interest Group.

In her role at Craig, Laura oversees the strategy, structure and operations of the Outpatient Services Department, including admissions, registration, funding and therapy scheduling. Working closely with clinical, nursing and physician leaders, she is focused on maintaining high standards of patient care while fostering a collaborative, supportive environment for both patients and staff. Passionate about Craig’s mission and culture, Laura is excited to reconnect with colleagues and continue advancing patient-centered care, bringing both professional expertise and a personal commitment to Craig’s mission.
