Sandra “Buffy” Wojciehowski
Sandra “Buffy” Wojciehowski has been a practicing physical therapist since 2007. A proud graduate of Seton Hall University, she started her career at Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation where she spent the first 12 years primarily working in the outpatient spinal cord injury department. Her background includes over 10 years of involvement with the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation NeuroRecovery Network including teaching the Introduction to Locomotor Course and presenting multiple presentations on locomotor training and best practice advice for treating the SCI population at national conferences. Throughout her career, Buffy has shown her commitment to continuing education by becoming competent to safely and effectively utilize many advanced technology devices including the Exoskeletons, Xcite, Lokomat, Vector, BWS devices, FES bikes, etc. Buffy moved to Colorado after accepting the PEAK Health and Wellness Coordinator position in 2019 and has been focused on activity-based training since that time. She works directly with clinical exercise specialists to provide strength and endurance training programs to supplement clients’ therapy programs or to assist clients with ongoing fitness goals once they have been discharged from formal therapy services.
