Tom Corley
Tom Corley has recently “retired” following a 40-year career in the oil and gas business focused on exploration, development, and acquisition activities conducted primarily in the Permian Basin of West Texas. Always located in Denver, Tom worked for notable local companies such as General Atlantic Resources, St. Mary Land and Exploration, and Basin Exploration. In 2001, he and his business partner founded “Meritage”, where they built and sold four companies in 18 years.
Tom earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines in 1983. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling to Mexico, exercising, golfing, fishing, and training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Tom loves his twice weekly volunteer work in The PEAK Center at Craig Hospital.
He and his wife Lisa of 38 years (and their two adult sons) are natives of Colorado. They have been actively involved (financial support, Board representation) for the Children’s Diabetes Foundation, and A Precious Child. Other affiliations include Craig Hospital, National Jewish Hospital, ALS, Warren Village, and Kiin Beh School (Mexico).
