Equine Assisted Learning – October

🌟 Join Us for Equine Assisted Learning/Recreational Therapy 🌟

Date:  October 13th, 2026

Location: 7067 Cottonwood Dr., Colorado Springs, CO 

Time: 9:00 am – 2:30 pm

The program will be a combination of equine-assisted learning and recreation.  The group will start with a simple hands-on exercise with the horses in each meeting.  This will be a simple herd observation, discussion, catch and halter, and grooming exercise.  We always have a brief, relaxing group discussion before and after the horse-riding event.  Participants find it centering, calming, and relaxing.

Following the hands-on event, we take a brief bathroom break and mount up for a trail ride.  We gather again at the end of the trail ride for a processing brief.  The ride is very relaxing and positive, even empowering!

**Transportation will be provided for those individuals who choose to ride with OTF.  The OTF Van will depart at 8:30 am and return 2:30 pm.  Departure location for the van:  565 Communication Cr., Colorado Springs, CO 80905**
