ARC IM System to Manage Symptomatic Blood Pressure Instability Secondary to Chronic Spinal Cord Injury
June 17, 2026
We are currently enrolling individuals with SCI to participate in this study designed to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of an implantable device (ARCIM System) which delivers targeted, programmed stimulation to the spinal cord to address symptomatic blood pressure instability in individuals with SCI.
About the Program
Following a spinal cord injury (SCI), blood pressure (BP) can fluctuate between inappropriately low and high values due to disruptions in the autonomic nervous system. The Empower BP global pivotal study evaluates the safety and effectiveness of the investigational implantable ARCIM System for treating symptomatic blood pressure instability in individuals with chronic SCI.
