Alumna makes gift to help expand Craig’s music therapy program
Gracie Fisher, Craig Grad ’15, visited Craig week and she brought with her the gift of music, a gift to help others in need.
Gracie benefited significantly from Craig’s music therapy program during her inpatient stay and has carried what she learned-and her ability to play keyboard with a mouth stick-back to California. Experiencing the program’s tremendous benefits, Gracie was motivated to start a foundation and give back so that many others who have physical or mental challenges can benefit from music and art.
During her visit, Gracie presented a check to the Craig Foundation and celebrated philanthropy alongside friends, caregivers and local news stations. The $1500 gift will buy a guitar and accessories, finger castanets, triangle, resonator bells, desk bells, rhythm sticks, rainsticks and paddle drums for use with patients.
