We’re pleased to announce that Craig Hospital’s board of directors has appointed a new President and CEO, Jandel Allen-Davis, M.D. She will officially join Craig on Oct. 1, 2018 and will replace Mike Fordyce, who announced his retirement earlier this year after serving as President & CEO of Craig for the past 10 years.
Jandel was chosen after a six-month search and received unanimous support from the search committee. She comes to Craig from Kaiser Permanente Colorado, where she was most recently the Vice President of Government, External Relations and Research. She has been with Kaiser for 24 years, serving in a number of positions from staff physician to the executive leadership role she most currently held.
Bob Ladenburger, Craig’s Board Chair says, “Dr. Allen-Davis has the right experience and skills to lead a top rehabilitation hospital. But above all, the value she places on patients and the quality of their care is in perfect alignment with Craig’s culture, which is what makes this hospital unique.”
Jandel will be working closely with Mike to transition into her new role over the coming months.
“I am honored and excited to be an ambassador and advocate for the Craig family and the patients it serves,” says Jandel. “This is a special place – the way Craig puts patients and their families at the center of care is directly in line with how I practiced medicine. I’m very grateful for the opportunity to join this community.”
The Craig Hospital family is forever indebted to Mike Fordyce for his dedication and service over the past 10 years. He will be missed, but we are also excited to usher in a new chapter with our new President & CEO!
Stay tuned for more information on Jandel Allen-Davis when she arrives in October.
