Craig Hospital Named Winner of 2025 USA TODAY Top Workplaces, Denver Post Top Workplaces and Top Workplaces Culture Excellence Awards

ENGLEWOOD, COLO. – July 10, 2025 – Craig Hospital, a nationally recognized neurorehabilitation and research hospital for individuals who have sustained a spinal cord and/or brain injury, is proud to announce that it has been named a winner of the 2025 USA TODAY Top Workplaces, Denver Post Top Workplaces and Top Workplaces Culture Excellence awards.

These awards are based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology company Energage. The confidential survey uniquely measures the employee experience and its component themes, including employees feeling respected and supported, enabled to grow, and empowered to execute.

This year marks the fourth time Craig Hospital has been awarded a USA TODAY Top Workplaces honor since 2021. The award recognizes organizations with 150 or more employees that have created exceptional, people-first cultures. This year, more than 42,000 organizations from across the U.S. were invited to participate. The winners are recognized for their commitment to fostering a workplace environment that values employee listening and engagement.

This year is also the 10th time Craig Hospital has been awarded a Denver Post Top Workplaces honor since 2012. Craig ranked #17 out of the 28 best companies to work for in Colorado that were recognized in the Large Company category this year.

In 2025, Craig was also honored to be recognized among Top Workplaces in the categories of Compensation & Benefits and Purpose & Values. These awards celebrate organizations who provide employees not only with tangible rewards but also with recognition for their work as well as organizations who have both embedded their mission and values into their culture and are effective in their work to bring it into reality.

“We are deeply honored to receive these Top Workplaces awards, which reflect the dedication, compassion and teamwork of our staff,” Craig Hospital Vice President of People and Culture and CHRO Amie Staudenmaier said. “It’s especially meaningful to be recognized for Compensation & Benefits and Purpose & Values, as it highlights our commitment to providing both tangible support and a mission-driven culture where employees feel appreciated and inspired. At Craig, we are proud of our people-first environment where our staff can thrive and make a lasting difference by delivering the best care for our patients, their families and each other.”

As an independent, not-for-profit neurorehabilitation hospital, Craig Hospital’s people-first culture is centered around exceptional care for our patients, their families and our staff, and everyone has a critical role to play at Craig in caring for our community.
