Craig Named Among Best Hospitals for Rehabilitation by U.S. News & World Report for 36 Consecutive Years 

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. – August 22, 2025 – U.S. News & World Report has announced that Craig Hospital is ranked No. 8 among the best hospitals for rehabilitation in the U.S. This is the 36th consecutive year that Craig has ranked as a top hospital. Craig, a neurorehabilitation and research hospital and center of excellence caring for people who have sustained spinal cord and brain injuries, has been ranked every year since the annual Best Hospitals rankings began in 1990.  

This year’s annual rankings were gathered by evaluating data on more than 4,400 hospitals nationwide in 15 specialties and 22 procedures and conditions; only 13% of evaluated hospitals earned a Best Hospitals designation. According to U.S. News & World Report, to be nationally ranked in a specialty, a hospital must excel at factors such as clinical outcomes, level of nursing care and patient experience, and this year, Craig was designated No. 8 in the country for rehabilitation.

Founded in 1956, Craig Hospital is located in Englewood, Colo., and each year provides specialized neurorehabilitation and research for nearly 2,000 individuals who have sustained a spinal cord injury and/or brain injury.
