Lovable Kaizen, the service dog in training, is at it again! This time he's sharing his Broncos spirit with Craig Hospital patients and staff. Kaizen donned a jersey and Broncos hat and greeted people at Craig.
Kaizen is training to be a service dog as part of Canine Companions for Independence (CCI). Jeni Exley, who works for Craig Hospital's physician group CNS, has been working with Kaizen for more than a year to prepare him to work as a service dog. CCI service dogs are partnered with adults with physical disabilities to assist with daily tasks and increase independence by reducing reliance on other people.
